Tony Massengale

Tony Massengale is co-creator of the Civic Organizing Model with Peg Michels.

Tony was a long-time organizer in Los Angeles and surrounding area. His formal roles include manager with LA County Community & Senior Services Department; co-director of the Unity Collaborative/Community-Gang Violence Intervention-Network and vice president with Drew Child Development Corporation. Tony has delivered more than 200 public speaking keynotes, presentations, and panels and has done more than 50 media interviews and press events.

Tony died in 2016, and we grieve the loss of our friend and colleague.
